On July 15, 1961, a beautiful baby girl was born to Rose Elizabeth Gray & Addingtion James Rolle Sr.(Both deceased).
This precious gem was proud of her Children and family. She was outspoken and always had a heart of GOLD. This lovely woman was God fearing and would give her last to help somebody along the way. One of her favorite sayings was ''If I could help somebody along the way then my living would not be in vain'' A dedicated wife , mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. A loving sister, aunt and great aunt. Her childern was her number one priority, and nothing ever stopped her from being an unconditional loving earthly God to them.
In early age Adwina was into cooking, raising animals on the farm with her mother ,and baking loafs of bread every morning.
Adwina attended Wentworth Priamry schools, S.C. and then went on to McPherson Senior High school. One of her ambitions was to become self -employed she accomplished this by providing lunches for the primary schools through out the Bahamas. After being self employed for a while, she decided to seek employment with The Bahamas Government where she was employed as a nursing auxiliary at Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre. She spent ten years in this profession .She then retired and moved to the United States in 1995, then she had created a catering company called ABC's Catering. Where she provided Caribbean food for events and other restaurants throughout south florida. She also used her business to provide food and prayer for the homeless giving them encouraging words to stay strong, and have hope that God is not done with them. Adwina has fulfilled Gods purpose in life by ministering the gospel to any and everyone who was fortunate enough to encounter this God fearing woman was amazing. She was loved by everyone that came in contact with her she ministered through the bellies of people. A prayer warrior she was. If you asked her how she was doing she would always say "I'm blessed baby, and so are you" she left behind to cherish her memories. Her loving husband Eugene Charles Gilmore
