Walter was united in love and purpose with his beloved wife, the late Susie Funchess. Together they built a life rooted in faith, hard work, and service. Their union was blessed with six daughters, forming a strong and loving family that continues to carry their legacy forward.

A hardworking and determined man, Walter established his lawn business, where he labored faithful alongside his wife. Together, they built not only a business, but a standard of diligence, commitment and unity.

Their shared heart for people extended far beyond their household. With a spirit of generosity and compassion, Susie Founded the Annual Christmas Breakfast, a tradition that Walter faithfully continued and helped grow, feeding hundreds and blessing families with gifts each Christmas morning. What began as an act of love has become a powerful expression of service to the community.

Walter is a man of God and a natural giver, known for opening doors for others. HE has provided opportunities for individuals seeking a second chance, employing those overcoming addiction and past hardships, reflecting both grace and leadership.

Above all, Walter loves his family. His life stands as a testament to faith, resilience, and quiet strength, a man whose legacy is not only measured in years, but in lives, impacted, values instilled, and love shared.
